The museum is located in the centre of Kosovo. The museum has a total collection of 1,440 exhibits, including 569 library items.
The museum's exposition covers the events of the UPA era and the participation of Kosiv region residents in them. The story is based on thematic stands:

The main task of the museum is to preserve the memory of the true history of the liberation struggle of the Ukrainian people, not distorted by Soviet ideology, and to foster patriotism in modern Ukrainian youth.
The museum keeps a book of memory of the victims of repressions with the names of all the victims.
