The season of New Year and Christmas holidays is approaching. And the first of them is St Nicholas. Of course, children look forward to him the most. After all, St Nicholas, like a good wizard, always comes with gifts. So do not miss the opportunity to please your children and go to visit St Nicholas. In 9 km from the Manor, on the outskirts of the village of Pistyn, there is a unique Manor of this children's patron saint. It is a small charming Hutsul-style house filled with a festive aroma. The Manor is guarded by various fairy-tale characters made of wood by master craftsmen. There is also a place for a bonfire, around which there are chairs of the twelve virtues.
St Nicholas works both in summer and winter. Therefore, throughout the year, anyone can visit his home, talk to him in person, and possibly receive a gift. St Nicholas' house houses the Wonderworker's post office, which receives letters from children from all over Ukraine. There is also St Nicholas' study, his bedchamber, and magic pillows. When St Nicholas sleeps on the left pillow, he dreams about whether the child has been good. If he sleeps on the right pillow, he sees whether the child prays to God. And if on the middle one, he sees whether the child is merciful. And not everyone agrees to look into the magic mirror in the house, because if a polite child looks into it, he or she will see his or her reflection, but if a naughty child does, there will be no image. In one of the rooms, a magic silver bell hangs on a decorated Christmas tree. If you touch it, St Nicholas will grant you all your wishes. (Even adults believe in this: many of them touch the bell quietly.) When you meet St Nicholas, don't forget to share your dreams and your most cherished wishes. St Nicholas makes dreams come true!
